Reina: Deep Roots - Season 2, Ep. 1
Reina provides patients in states with medical cannabis programs access to safe, efficacious cannabinoid medicines and cultivates their own cannabis products. Incorporated in 2013 by L.A. entrepreneur Priscilla Vilchis, Premium Produce is a woman-owned company that puts the health and safety of cannabis patients first.
Starting as a small company based in Nevada, Reina has grown into a full-scale medical cannabis cultivator, and has a 25,000 square foot, $6 million cultivation and laboratory facility in Las Vegas.
Next it’s a casual sit down for Sushi and drinks with the Reina team as they talk cannabis, running a successful grow, the future of the market, and how the Reina team overcame their own bias to create one of the best Las Vegas brands and made Priscilla Vilichis “Cannabis Queen of the Desert.”
Here’s a preview of what you’ll get in the episode!
Garrett visits the Reina mother room to check out their over three dozen strains. There he checks out the moms and takes a look at the Reina cloning process. Guess what they use for rooting gel…yep, Clonex!
Garret visits the king of veg at Reina and learns about the process for building the best possible framework for those big buds that are on the way. He checks out some Surna units and then learns about maximizing plant health with Dan from Green Cleaner.
Next up is the flower room where Garrett learns how Reina controls the environment to produce the best possible cannabis – “Quest is the Best.” They also discuss canopy management and tailoring feeds with Advanced Nutrients.
Drying, Curing, and Trimming:
Frank from Reina shows Garrett the packaging room and explains why Reina’s 8th might weigh out just a bit heavier than other brands. Homie hook up!
The pair also talk about Reina’s hybrid strategy when it comes to drying and curing. As for trimming…are those Trim Bins?
Garrett meets Josh Frank from Nevada Made Marijuana to pick up some Reina jars and pre-rolls. The pair also discuss what it’s like working with Reina and partnering with them in cannabis AND community service.
